It’s amazing what God is doing in this generation! Just took a trip up to Bethel, checked out the Pasadena International House of Prayer and it’s like YWAM all over again. It’s easy to forget/not think about what radical things God is doing. We get caught up in a world that says okay, you have to graduate high school, then college, then select a career, party it up, get married (stay together if that is what’s right for you), have a couple kids, retire, and spend the rest of your life at the beach house fishing. We get drunk off of this idea of the American Dream that even as believers we forget that God has RADICAL plans and He’s doing AWESOME things that we are meant to be a part of.

I can just see Him smiling over us. A generation is rising up as mature, passionate, true worshipers. He’s calling His army together and charging them to grab their armor. It’s funny how every lame pursuit the enemy takes to try and take us down just makes us stronger.

Let’s give thanks to Him before we do anything else. Thank you Daddy for loving us first. Thank you for never giving up and always pursuing us. Thank you for the Holy Spirit that you have given us through our Savior Jesus Christ. THANK YOUU!! Thank you for raising up a generation that isn’t afraid to dance. We’re allowing Him to breathe His love into our weary souls, breaking off the fear and shattering all doubt. He’s raising up a generation with new, passionate faith. He’s raising up a generation that heals in the name of Jesus Christ, a generation that walks in obedience, walks in intimacy, and lives and confidently walks in the supernatural.

Now let’s take it in and think about what we’re gonna do. What is my part in this revival? How can I contribute? What part of the Body, the Church am I? What role has Abba given me?

Take courage! Most people you come into contact with will look at your life, who you serve, and think it is foolishness (1 Corinthians 1:18). But be encouraged because what appears to be foolishness to the foolish is the power of God to the wise.

Let us unite! 1 Corinthians 1:10-17 warns against division. “I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of  you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought” because, Jesus says, “every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand” (Matthew 12:25).

  1. Amen! There’s a great quote in Max Lucado’s “God Came Near” that this post reminded me of. He says, “it is the normality not the uniqueness of God’s miracles that causes them to be so staggering. Rather than stocking the globe with an occasional demonstration . . . God has opted to display his power daily. Proverbially. Pounding waves. Prism-cast colors. Birth, death, life. We are surrounded by miracles. God is throwing testimonies at us like fireworks, each one exploding, ‘God is! God is!’ . . . We life in an art gallery of divine creativity and yet are content to gaze only at the carpet.”

I’m inspired by the enthusiastic faith shown by so many young people these days. Always keep that enthusiasm dibart89!
